We take privacy seriously – and we also dislike cookie banners on every website. On the public ChemTool website we therefore avoid marketing tracking and advertising cookies.

I hate cookies and the annoying consent banners on every website – that’s why we do not use cookies or tracking on the public ChemTool website. There is no cookie banner.

For automatic language selection, ChemTool may store the language preference locally in your browser (Local Storage). No cookies are set.

Note: In the ChemTool customer area, technically necessary session cookies may be used so that functions like login work reliably.

Fonts

ChemTool uses system fonts. No external font libraries are loaded.

Sharing with third parties

We share personal data only when required to provide a service or when legally required (e.g. hosting/IT providers), and only to the necessary extent.

Retention

Contact requests are retained as long as needed to handle the request and comply with legal obligations. Technical logs are retained for a limited period for security reasons.
